A Celebration of Flavors and Culture With AniLag At Café Ilang-Ilang
The Manila Hotel is delighted to announce a new culinary venture that brings together two prestigious establishments to create a dining experience that highlights the vibrant flavors of Laguna province and its traditional cuisine.
The Manila Hotel’s Café Ilang-Ilang, renowned for its extensive international buffet spread, has partnered with Calle Arco, an ancestral residence in Pagsanjan, Laguna, transformed into a restaurant famous for its authentic Filipino cuisine prepared with heirloom recipes. This partnership will promote Anilag or Ani ng Laguna, an annual cuisine festival in Laguna that celebrates the region’s rich culinary heritage.
“We are thrilled to introduce AniLag to Café Ilang-Ilang’s loyal customers. The Manila Hotel’s Assistant Director of Food & Beverage, EJ Yap, describes this partnership as a fantastic opportunity to honor the hotel’s cultural heritage.
Throughout July, Café Ilang-Ilang will offer consumers the opportunity to experience the Anilag festival through a carefully curated menu highlighting Calle Arco’s revered family recipes. Binagoongang Crispy Pata, Hurnong Lechon, Kare-Kare (Galapong), Pancit Habhab, Sinigang na Baka na may Langka, Grilled Pla-Pla with Pako, and Kamote de Leche are among the featured dishes. These dishes are available alternatingly at the lunch and dinner buffet at Café Ilang-Ilang until July 31.
