Kim Soo Hyun is a Korean superstar known for his roles in the series “My Love from the Star,” “It’s Okay Not to Be Okay,” “Moon Embracing the Sun,” “Dream High” and “The Producers.” He previously emerged as the highest-paid K-drama actor of 2020. Clothing giant Bench announced last month that they would be holding a fan meeting titled “One Extraordinary Day” on June 10 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

A few days before the fan meet, I had no idea what the seating plan was for Patron B1. Then, one day, I dreamed that my seat was near the stage, and it happened! I was so happy during the fan meeting. I woke up early to line up because there’s free seating for Patron B, unlike Patron A and VIP.

KIM SOO HYUN BENCH FAN MEETING IN MANILA: D-DAY

As Kim Soo-hyun stepped onto the stage for the fan meeting, he was surprised by the sheer number of individuals who had attended.

“Mabuhay Philippines! Kamusta kayo? (How are you?)” Soo hyun greeted fans as he entered the venue.

When asked how he felt about being in Manila, Kim Soo-hyun revealed he was having trouble regulating his emotions as he displayed his surprise at the audience’s reaction.

“This is certainly an honor and I appreciate you so much,” he added, adding that it had been a long time since he had conducted such an event.

“Ten years from now, it will be 2032,” Kim Soo-hyun stated when asked how he sees himself in ten years. “I am thinking maybe I will grow a really long beard and I will have transformed into this really mature and serious [person].”

“The moment that is particularly meaningful to me and is a highlight of really any project that I do is the last day of shoot, always the last day of shooting of the project that I am currently working on,” Kim Soo-hyun said of his professional high point.

In terms of his favorite places, he stated that he is very curious and would love to visit Palawan in the Philippines.

Overall, I am so happy that, after 12 years, I finally met my all-time favorite Korean actor, Kim Soo Hyun. I am glad and proud of what he is doing right now. He always inspires me to be brave, so that someday I will achieve my dream. Thank you so much, Bench, for bringing Kim Soo Hyun here to the Philippines!
