The country’s first live KPOP event in two years, Begin Again: KPOP Edition, is less than a week away. Fans and artists can hardly contain their enthusiasm as the event approaches on Sunday, May 29.
CDM Entertainment, a local promoter, has released a series of videos featuring NCT DREAM, WEi, and ALICE welcoming fans in Korean, English, and, of course, Tagalog—much to the joy of Filipino fans who have yearned to hear their idols speak their native tongue.
NCT DREAM praises the concert’s lovely meaning in their video, adding that it makes the members even more thrilled to reunite with Filipino NCTzens. Lead dancer Jaemin even demonstrates care for the audience in a lovely gesture. “Sana okay lang kayo,” Jaemin says in his greeting, alluding to the difficulty of living in a pandemic.
WEi and ALICE, likewise, have expressed a desire to meet Filipino fans. WEi will be meeting Philippine RUi for the first time, and the boys are looking forward to it. Meanwhile, ALICE is overjoyed to reunite with two new members of Philippine BLRIS.
SHINee’s KEY, who is also in the lineup, has yet to produce a video greeting, but he has expressed his wish to meet Philippine Shawol.
CDM Entertainment has posted venue requirements with reminders on what to do on concert day, with only four days till the event. The promoter has also agreed to provide supporters reserved Upper Box seating (which was previously free) and an enlarged stage, making the event even more memorable. On CDM Entertainment’s social media accounts, expect additional announcements.
