NEW Food Trend: Nacho Bake from Cecilia’s Gourmet!

We have tried countless of food trends from baked sushi to ube. This time we were craving for some Mexican food and we’re trying the new delicious food trend: NACHO BAKE made by CECILIA’s GOURMET! This new food sensation is quickly catching up, you’re about to find out why!

We loved Mexican food and have tried Mexican food in Arizona, USA, and Nogales, Mexico. Some of the most Mexican food that people love to try are tortillas, burrito, and enchiladas to name a few. We also love tacos with the taco meat which is why we think this new food trend will be a special treat for all the foodies out there!

CECILIA is the name of the owner’s. She grew up watching her mom create her everyday meals and make it extra special. Her mother added another depth of flavor that the owner would try to recreate her meals, It was first challenging for her but that started her love for experimenting on different flavors. Thus CECILIA’S GOURMET was born.

They started last 2017 selling gourmet tuyo but they stopped producing since the owner couldn’t manage her time for work and business properly. The brand was revived during the ECQ when she was in the kitchen every day, just cooking, experimenting, and baking whatever she felt like. By that time, they started to have themed dinners complete with the setup and music and then began a Mexican themed dinner, which was a surprise hit because she just experimented on the flavors and used whatever spices that they had in the pantry. That started the Mexican choices of CECILIA’S GOURMET.

The NACHO BAKE came when the sushi bake trend started. They wanted to create something that they felt like would be enjoyed by the whole family since their recipe for Nacho bake has been a hit in their family gatherings. All 7 layers of comfort food with a slow-cooked spicy Taco beef and beans, Elote (with their homemade garlic bomb sauce, cheese, and spices), tomatoes, onions, homemade nacho cheese, shredded lettuce, and olives.

Their NACHO BAKE comes in two trays:

• AMIGO tray, good for 3-4pax
• FIESTA tray, good for 5-6pax

Comes with a bag of 200 grams nacho chips. NACHO BAKE also comes in a special box perfect for gifts, potlucks, and even as a treat to yourself.

• Price: PHP 650 (Good for 5-6 pax) with a bag of 200g Nacho Chips (So worth it!)
• ADD additional Nacho chips for just PHP 60!

If you love tacos and baked sushi, then you’ll love the BAKED NACHO. You will notice quite a large number of cheese, spices, and meat! Simply take your naco and dip it inside the bake and voila! You got BAKED NACHO!

We highly recommend eating it once it arrives at your doorstep since it still warm. In fact, we still find it delicious even though it’s cold! This is the best food combined with your soft drink while watching Netflix online. Baked Nacho + Netflix is one of our guilty pleasures!

The best part of CECILIA’S GOURMET is everything is homemade. The food that they make is their comfort food. They don’t scrimp on the ingredients because that’s how they like to be served as well. They also get their fresh ingredients from farmers in Benguet and the nearby provinces in the South.

Baked Nacho: It’s quite cheesy and you can actually taste the meat mixed with spices that really overwhelm your taste buds. Rate: 10/10!
