NCT DoJaeJung Spends A Strawberry Sunday With Filipino NCTzens During Their Media Conference

NCT’s sub-unit DoJaeJung had a full-house media conference last June 25 at the Glorietta Activity Center.
After their fan concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, Doyoung, Jaehyun, and Jungwoo talked to the press as well as Filipino NCTzens about their favorite memories in the country, the things they’ve discovered about each other, and their first mini-album.
“I remember the first time that I got to meet all of the NCTzens in the Philippines. I really felt the warmth of the people here. I think this is the reason why it makes me want to come back to the Philippines. And I really appreciate this opportunity to be able to come back and see you all once again,” said member Jungwoo. Jaehyun added that if there’s an opportunity, they will always come back here.
NCT DoJaeJung made their debut on April 17 where they dropped “Perfume”—the boys’ first mini-album which is also the same title as their title track’s music video. With six songs in total, all the members recommend “Strawberry Sunday” to new listeners because of its upbeat vibe. Doyoung mentioned that it matches the bright atmosphere in the Philippines.
Upon hearing that they will be forming a trio, NCT DoJaeJung shared that they were really happy but they thought that NCTzens will be happier once they know the good news.
The sub-unit allowed the boys to know each other more and when a press question was about it, Jungwoo described Doyoung as a very detailed person who treats him meals. He said the same thing about Jaehyun and added that he’s really good at taking care of his younger members.
Jaehyun told the media that he realized how Doyoung likes swimming so much when he asked if they have swimming suits with them prior to their flight and if they’re ready to spend time at the swimming pool. For Jungwoo, he discovered that he likes trying the local food whenever they’re on a trip.
Doyoung has always known that both Jaehyun and Jungwoo are amazing singers but while working as NCT DoJaeJung, he noticed that their album allowed them to wear a musical style that fits them so well.
NCT DoJaeJung’s Media Conference is powered by Ayala Malls as part of “Feed Your Seoul,” a campaign that highlights the Korean wave in the Philippines. With various K-activities lined up for every fandom—from K-pop to Korean food and K-beauty—you can expect a memorable Hallyu experience like no other.
