Flying Carnival 2020 In Cavite, Philippines International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta

The Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta, often known as “The Weekend of Everything That Flies,” has been Asia’s most anticipated and longest-running sports aviation event for more than two decades. Over the years, it has maintained committed to its long-term goals of igniting interest in aviation, instilling discipline in young pilots, and instilling a culture of participation in the entire community.

The event will be held at the San Lazaro Leisure Park in Carmona, Cavite on March 6-8, 2020.

“The Flying Carnival 2020: A Weekend of Almost Everything That Flies,” a 3-day spectacle of hot air balloons, helicopters, and air sport events, combined with aviation career seminars, fly markets, food booths, and family entertainment, will be launched by the organizers!

Observers will be treated to the spectacle of early morning balloon flights in a more comfortable viewing environment, followed by:

Exhibits of flight that never stop
Demonstrations of paragliding, skydiving, and helicopters
Exhibits of RC control lines
Flying a kite.

Schedule of Activities

Visitors can stroll through a carnival environment with food vendors and family-friendly entertainment. The Fly Market will sell aviation goods and one-of-a-kind items, and the weekend nights will be finished off with a beautiful hot air balloon nightglow and fireworks extravaganza.

Fighter pilots from the Philippine Air Force, Naval Air Group pilots from the Philippine Navy, a female captain from Cebu Pacific Air, and an Air Traffic Controller from the Air Traffic Service will be giving Aviation Career Seminars to those interested in pursuing a career in aviation. Michel Gordillo, an FAI World Record holder from Spain, Pete Bish, a Hot Air Balloon pilot from the United Kingdom, and Capt. Joy Roa of Asian Air Safari will join them. Business Class ticket holders will be able to attend the sessions. Seminar participants will receive a certificate of completion, as well as meals and access to the event.

Those who want to enjoy the carnival in style can purchase a First Class Ticket, which gives them entrance to the whole event, including meals, exclusive observation spaces, and access to the aviation seminars and air-conditioned mart.
