SHINee’s Minho Successfully Wraps Up Solo Tour ‘MEAN: Of My First’ with Final Show in Manila

K-pop artist Choi Minho, best known as a member of second-generation group SHINee, wrapped up his solo concert tour, “MEAN: of my first,” at the New Frontier Theater, on March 16, 2025. The night showcased Minho’s range as a performer and his strong connection with his Filipino fans.
Minho Reunites with Filipino Shawols
The concert began with excitement as Shawols (SHINee’s fandom) filled the venue, waving their signature pearl aqua lightsticks. SHINee tracks played in the background, building the energy before Minho took the stage.
“Philippine SHINee World! Did you guys miss me? I missed you too! Hello everybody, I am Minho of SHINee!” he greeted.
He opened with “Would You Mind” and “Affection,” followed by “Came And Left Me,” which had the crowd swaying and singing along.
Flaming Charisma Minho brings the energy

“Ako si Minho! Welcome to my first solo concert, MEAN: of my first!” he said with a grin.
He followed up with energetic performances of “Fireworks” and “Round Kick.” In between songs, he kept things light and fun with the crowd. “Your hot energy makes me fly even higher tonight!” he joked.
Minho also took time to acknowledge the fan projects prepared for him. “I lost my concentration because of your amazing fan events. Thank you very, very much,” he said, smiling at the banners and signs held up around the venue.
“This concert includes songs and styles that I love. Please stay energized and enjoy tonight’s show,” he told the crowd.
Fans were on their feet, dancing and singing throughout the night.
Minho’s Sexy and Powerful Performance

Minho kept the momentum going with “Chase,” “Call Back,” and “Slow Down.” Fans echoed his chants and moved with the beat. He covered the entire stage, making sure to interact with fans in every section.
He shifted the mood with “I Don’t Miss You” and “Runaway,” slowing things down and leaning into a smoother, more emotive performance style.
As he briefly stepped offstage, fans chanted “Choi Minho!” louder than ever.
Heartfelt Serenade
Minho returned in an all-white outfit for a slower, more heartfelt part of the concert. He placed his hand on his heart and encouraged fans to wave their lightsticks as he sang “Prove It,” “I’m Home,” and “Stay for a Night.”
When fans began chanting his name again, Minho laughed and said, “It’s a bit sad if we don’t repeat it.” He sang “Prove It” one more time, this time with the crowd singing along from start to finish.
He followed up with “Because of You” and “Waterfalls,” maintaining the slower, more emotional tone.
Changing into a dark, shimmering jacket, Minho returned with “Heartbreak” and “Something About U.” Midway through the performance, he took off his top, drawing loud cheers from the audience. The energy stayed high through to the end of his set.
Encore to Remember
Minho came back for the encore wearing his tour jersey. He performed SHINee’s “View” and “Body Rhythm,” turning the venue into a full-on celebration.
In his final message, Minho said, “Because this is the last stop, I feel sad but incredibly happy. When you sang ‘Stay for a Night’ earlier, I felt so touched. Thank you for tonight.”
When fans chanted “Walang uuwi!” Minho jokingly lay down on the stage and said, “Okay, I will stay here!” He followed it up with, “I really think I have to come back to the Philippines soon!”
As fans chanted “SHINee World,” he responded, “Thank you, I love you. Every single time, I realize how much positive energy you give me. With your trust, I promise to never let you down and become an even better Minho of SHINee. I will definitely come back. You’re always my hope. Let’s create more memories together.”
He wrapped up with “You’re Right” and “Choice,” waving to fans as confetti fell. Before leaving the stage, he hugged his dancers, acknowledged his band, and bowed for the final time —a perfect ending to an unforgettable night.
