The Maine Reunites with their Filipino fans with Nostalgic Pop-punk hits
The Maine electrified Manila with a night of pure pop-punk magic at the Skydome. Fans gathered for the much-anticipated event, ready to lose themselves in the band’s unmistakable sound and heart-pounding performance.
It wasn’t long before the band, led by frontman John O’Callaghan, emerged with the familiar swagger that’s made them an enduring force in the pop-punk scene. The night took off when the band played their “I Must Be Dreaming”, where the fans started jumping that made the Skydome floor shake.
With over 16 years of music under their belt, The Maine brought out all their famous tracks. One of the most unforgettable moments of the night was when the band played “Sticky” with the crowd singing every word in unison and jumping into the crowd. The chorus echoed through the Skydome as fans waved their phones with their lights on creating a sea of lights.
Ever hit track brought the fans to their feet but it was “Another Night on Mars” that left everyone feeling a sense of unity and belonging—reminding us why concerts like these are so important.
For many fans, this concert wasn’t their first concert. The band’s energy was infectious, with every song connecting emotionally. From the crisp guitar riffs to John’s heartfelt vocals, the venue was filled with the unmistakable sound of a band that has grown with their audience, evolving yet staying true to their roots.
