Mactan is still one of the most popular tourist destinations in Cebu, Philippines, and one of our favorite spots as well! Mactan is also quite famous for its famous white beaches and resorts. We highly recommend a combination of the famous white sand and comfy resort which would be the “Cebu White Sands Resorts And Spa”.

The resort is quite close to Cebu city and the moment you enter the resort, security is strict where safety protocols are introduced including wiping off your shoes on a wet carpet, temperature check, use of alcohol, You will be greeted with the cheerful voices of the hotel staff and the unique Filipino interior design of the lobby where there are seats for guests and a piano.

The moment you stepped into the resort you will notice the light blue color of their huge swimming pool along with the buffet at the sides. The resort is divided into three wings which is the Heritage Wing, Courtyard Wing, and Mabuhay Wing.

The Mabuhay Wing would have a modern intake while the Heritage Wing is more of a 90s interior design. While the Courtyard Wing is covered with the famous Japanese fish “Koi”. Most of the rooms in the Mabuhay Wing have a modern and rustic intake with a wooden bed, table, chairs. Each of the rooms has its own balcony with a chair and table. The bathtub would also come with some of the rooms.

We highly recommend the Mabuhay Ocean View Suite or the Mabuhay Panoramic View Suite if you have the budget. You will definitely enjoy the view and take some great Instagrammable photos. The room just simply has one the best views of the Mactan beaches.

If you want to experience more of a nature vibe, then you need to visit the Courtyard wing where it’s home to one of the biggest Koi fish collections in Cebu. There is an extra pool where you can also take photos and plenty of beautiful birds! The grass is regularly checked that it resembles more a park! A lot of wedding receptions have also taken place at the Cebu White Sands Resort and Spa.

If you love spending time in the swimming pool or on the beach, you might as well want to add some water activities to your holiday plan! You can rent some jet skis from the resort and go jet-skiing around the area. It’s definitely worth every dollar or peso since you will experience the clear blue waters of Mactan!

If you’re looking for more of a group water sport, we would recommend the banana boat. This is a fun activity into especially if you’re a large group of friends or family. Cebu White Sands and Spa gave us one of the best water activities and room experience. You need to add this resort to your bucket list. Trust us. It’s worth it!
