“I Made the Right Decision to Come to Manila”: CHEN Amazes Fans with Heartfelt Vocals During Arcadia Tour

Just like his song “Best Luck,” Filipino fans were lucky to experience one of the best nights of their lives at CHEN’s Arcadia in Manila on February 28, 2026, at the FYM Hall of the EVM Convention Center.

Arcadia in Manila marked CHEN’s return to Manila following his appearance at KOSTCON 2025: Korean OST Concert in August 2025. His last solo event in the city was in November 2024 for his fan-con, Beyond the Door in Manila.

Together with his live band, CHEN kicked off Arcadia in Manila with back-to-back performances of “No Gravity” and “Fall In Love Again.” Fans immediately proved their love and support, cheering loudly and proudly from the very start of the show. “Seeing your faces makes me think that I made the right decision to come to Manila,” CHEN said, visibly touched by the crowd’s enthusiasm.

Shortly after, he performed what he described as his “emotional” songs: “I Don’t Even Mind,” “My Dear,” “Deja-Vu,” and “Remember.” “First, I would like to thank everyone for coming here to meet me today!” CHEN expressed, sharing his heartfelt gratitude with the fans. He also mentioned that being in the same space as his fans makes him truly happy.

CHEN continued to serenade the crowd with “Photograph,” “Don’t Remember,” “Starlight,” and “Shall We?” After a short VCR break, he returned to the stage in a new outfit to perform “Brighter Than,” “You Never Know,” “Hold You Tight,” and “In My Life.”

Light sticks shone throughout the venue as fans waved them while CHEN sang. He shared that the crowd’s voices were so powerful they pierced through his mic and echoed straight into his in-ear monitor. The audience then began chanting “Pogi! Pogi!” which means “handsome,” and CHEN gladly replied with a cheerful “Thank you!” He followed this with performances of “Before the Petals Fall,” “PLAYLIST,” and “Make It Count.”

The next set turned the venue into a full-blown party. ans instantly got on their feet, vibing, jumping, and rocking along as CHEN powered through “Broken Party,” “Help Me (Somebody 2 Love),” and “Arcadia.” The energy from both CHEN and the crowd was through the roof. “Manila, make some noise!” he shouted.

Fans prepared a special encore by singing along to the instrumentals of “Best Luck.” Like idol, like fans, they sang the song beautifully, earning cheers in between verses. After a short while, he returned to the stage to perform “Traveler.”

“You guys today are the best!” he said. He also shared that even though he would be returning to South Korea the next day, he believes he will always remember Manila.

Getting closer to his fans, CHEN stepped down from the stage to sing “Beautiful Goodbye,” sharing the microphone with a few lucky fans who got to sing parts of the song with him. During this part of the concert, the fans’ etiquette was truly commendable. They remained respectful of CHEN’s space, refrained from mobbing him, and patiently waited for him to come near.

As if the encore song wasn’t enough, the fans also prepared a special fan video project for CHEN. He shared that he was truly thankful, praising how well the video was made and saying that he was very satisfied with it. “Watching the video, I thought, ‘Thank you very much for accepting me for who I am and for supporting me continuously’,” he said.

Concluding Arcadia in Manila, CHEN performed “Best Luck.” After the concert, he treated all ticket holders to a 1:1 selfie session.
