For #SafeHandsAtSM, SM Cares And Safeguard Advocate Proper Handwashing

We normally wash our hands quickly, but did you know that there are specific stages to follow when washing your hands?

SM Cares and Safeguard have teamed up to launch the #SafeHandsAtSM campaign, which aims to educate and encourage people to follow the five stages of good handwashing, which is especially important in this pandemic.

“Handwashing is our first line of defense against infections as part of our safe malling pledge, and it is also critical during a global health crisis. Mr. Steven Tan, President of SM Supermalls, said, “We are very happy to work with Procter & Gamble’s Safeguard, the top brand in health and personal care, to raise awareness on the importance of this matter.”

Simply follow these procedures to ensure that all parts of your hands are properly washed:
(1) Scrub the palms (2) back of the hand (3) between fingers (4) fingernails (5) and thumbs for at least 20 seconds.
Following that, completely rinse and dry your hands, as good handwashing is our most effective shield and defense against all types of viruses.
