Snoopy Garden is a quiet place where you can get in touch with your inner Snoopy and live like him, spending time with loved ones and enjoying the simple things in life.
“Snoopy Garden,” a 20-acre nature-experience garden in Songdang-ri, Gujwa-eup, Jeju, South Korea, was opened on July 17, 2020 by SN Garden, an eco-friendly development and planning company. This is the latest example of Peanuts-themed LBE in Asia.
“Snoopy Garden” is a natural experience theme garden that was made to look like Charles M. Schulz’s comic strip “Peanuts.” Peanuts elements add to the natural beauty of Jeju, and they all encourage people to enjoy the space around them and relax like Snoopy would. There is a space inside that shows how the Peanuts characters interact with each other, and there is also a garden where people can experience adventure, trouble, courage, and love, which are all common themes in the comic strips.
The indoor part has five different halls that focus on the relationships between the Peanuts characters and tell specific stories from the comic strip. There is also a courtyard, a roof garden, a Peanuts shop, and Cafรฉ Snoopy, all of which are designed to let people enjoy nature and Peanuts.
The outdoor garden is a peaceful place where people can go to relax and enjoy the Peanuts characters and the space.
Songdang-ri, which is in the east of Jeju and is where “Snoopy Garden” is, is a major transportation hub and has a lot of trees, soil, and rocks. Due to the unique climate of the area, visitors can also see native species of Jeju and the beautiful view of the other nearby mountains.
“Snoopy Garden” makes the most of these resources, the climate, and other regional features, making a place where people can relax in nature in different ways, with each season giving them new reasons to come back.
The indoor Garden House has five rooms with different themes that show different parts of the Peanuts’ lives. These rooms are called Relationship, Daily Life, Relaxation, Happiness, and Dream.
There are lots of places to take pictures inside, like Snoopy’s classroom and Lucy’s famous psychiatry booth.
The Outdoor Garden is an outdoor exhibit made up of 11 themed gardens where Peanuts characters are placed. You can pose with them and feel like you’re one of the comic’s characters.

This “nest” made of wood is 5 meters above the ground. As you walk along the raised walkway, you’ll get a nice breath of fresh air and a great view of the garden.
Peanuts Musing Field
You may know these low brick walls because they are where the Peanuts characters hang out most of the time. Lean against the wall and look thoughtful for a great shot.
Warm Puppy Lake
Here is where you will find Snoopy waiting for you at the end of the pier.
Beagle Scout Camp
In this area, there is a small but impressive waterfall where Snoopy and Woodstock the birds walk on tree logs across the water. Standing on one of the logs is a popular photo pose. There are still five more Spoopy-fied areas to explore in the Outdoor Garden. These include a garden with hydrangeas, a pumpkin patch, and a baseball field. When you’re all worn out, you can take a break and eat at the Snoopy cafe, which is simple and has floor-to-ceiling windows that show off the garden. Brunch items like burgers and fries are served at the cafe, which has a cute Snoopy theme.
