The Rose to Bring ‘Rosetopia Asia Tour 2026’ to Manila Before Indefinite Hiatus

South Korean alt-pop band The Rose is bringing its newest concert series, “Rosetopia,” to Asia in 2026, with the Philippines included among the tour stops.

The group, composed of Woosung, Dojoon, Hajoon, and Taegyeom, will stage its “Rosetopia Asia Tour 2026” in Manila on Aug. 15 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. The concert is expected to be a deeply meaningful night for Filipino Black Roses, as it comes ahead of the band’s indefinite hiatus.

Aside from the Philippines, the Asian leg of the tour will also include stops in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Taiwan, according to the announcement made through HY Live.

The Manila show follows The Rose’s April announcement that the band will be taking a break after the release of their upcoming album “Rose” and the conclusion of the “Rosetopia” tour.

In an emotional message shared on Instagram, the band said they wanted to close this chapter with fans in the way it deserved.

“After this, we will be taking a break. Not as an ending, but as a moment to breathe, to grow, and to find ourselves again, individually. So that one day, we can come back to you with even more to give,” The Rose wrote.

The group also assured fans that the hiatus does not mean a permanent farewell, saying, “This isn’t goodbye. It’s just… once in a blue moon.”

For longtime fans, the announcement carries emotional weight. Over the past decade, The Rose has built a loyal following through music that blends alternative pop, rock, and heartfelt lyricism. Their songs have become a source of comfort for many listeners, making the upcoming Manila concert more than just another tour stop.

Reflecting on their 10-year journey, the members described The Rose as their home, safe place, and reason to keep going. They also thanked fans for being part of every stage, city, and moment throughout their career.

That same mix of gratitude, sadness, and hope is expected to fill the SM Mall of Asia Arena when The Rose reunites with Filipino fans. While the concert will celebrate the band’s music and milestones, it may also be one of the last chances to see all four members perform together before they step away to focus on their individual paths.
