FX’S “THE BEAR” Renewed For A Third Season On Disney+
Disney+ has confirmed the renewal for a third season of the critically acclaimed, award-winning blockbuster series FX’s “The Bear.” In the Philippines, the first two seasons are currently accessible on Disney+.
“‘The Bear,’ which captivated viewers in its inaugural season and continued to soar in its second, has emerged as a cultural phenomenon,” stated FX Entertainment President Nick Grad. “We are incredibly honored to collaborate with the brilliant cast featuring Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Christopher Storer, Joanna Calo, Josh Senior, and the rest of the creative team.” Our organization, in collaboration with our collaborators at Hulu and Disney+, is filled with anticipation as we share the fans’ delight in anticipating the forthcoming installment in the narrative of ‘The Bear.’”
Season one is shortlisted for thirteen Emmy® Awards, including Outstanding Comedy Series, writing, directing, casting, production design, picture editing, and sound mixing. Acting nominations include those for Jeremy Allen White, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ayo Edebiri, Jon Bernthal, and Oliver Platt. In its inaugural season, the critically acclaimed series also won AFI TV Program of the Year. They accumulated a multitude of accolades, such as the PGA Award, WGA Award, American Cinema Editors Award, and ACE Eddie Award. Jeremy Allen White also earned the Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild, and Critics’ Choice awards for comedy series lead actor.
In season two, the ambitious endeavors of Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto (portrayed by Jeremy Allen White), Sydney Adamu (played by Ayo Edebiri), and Richard “Richie” Jerimovich (portrayed by Ebon Moss-Bachrach) to elevate their filthy sandwich establishment were documented. While deconstructing the restaurant to its bare essentials, the staff embarked on personal journeys of transformation, compelling each individual to confront past experiences and reflect on their aspirations.
It came out that the only thing more difficult than managing an existing restaurant was establishing a new one; thus, the team had to balance the creative agony and insanity of menu planning with the irrational bureaucracy of permits and contractors. Additionally, the transition ushered in a renewed emphasis on hospitality. By stretching the limits of their abilities and relationships and requiring the entire staff to collaborate in novel ways, they learned what it means to be of service to diners and to one another.
Christopher Storer (“Ramy,” “Eighth Grade”), Joanna Calo (“BoJack Horseman,” “Undone”), Hiro Murai (“Atlanta,” “Station Eleven”) of Super Frog, Josh Senior, and Matty Matheson, co-created “The Bear” for FX. Tyson Bidner (“Ramy”) served as the program’s producer. FX Productions ensures the series’ production.
