Kim Seon Ho Surprises Fans with These Colorful and Flavorful K-lig Moments During His“Color+Full Asia Tour” in Manila

Nothing would make Filo Seonhohadas’ day more colorful than meeting their K-drama favorite Kim Seon Ho again! Seon Ho’s Color+Full Asia Tour in Manila last April 13, 2024 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena brought by UFC Mixes and Makeitlive was filled with kilig moments and activities for his passionate Filipino fans.

The fans flaunted their love and support for Kim Seon Ho by dressing up in light, colorful outfits that fit the season and the event’s colorful theme. Some had customized bubble headbands with Seon Ho’s face, and others wore UFC ketchup costumes to show appreciation for the brand for bringing Seon Ho back to Manila.

Fun-filled moments at Color+Full Hometown

Despite the unforgiving summer heat, fans teemed with excitement before the main event as they enjoyed outdoor activities at the UFC Color+Full Hometown, where they could have UFC k-food and k-drink samples, get exclusive freebies, take unique photo-ops, earn NOM Shop vouchers, win Kim Seon Ho merch, and many more.

Fans can opt to collect all six stamps to get premium freebies. Stamps will be given when
attendees claim their k-food and k-drinks at six stations: Chingu Cafe, UFC FunChow, UFC
Oppa! Mixes, Locally, Nom, and Play with Color station.

Seon Ho’s Sweet Filipino Greeting and Serenade

Seon Ho greeted fans with his sweet message in Filipino, saying “Ako po si Kim Seon Ho,
kamusta po kayo? Salamat, and enjoy tayo,” (I’m Kim Seon Ho, how are you? Thank you, and
let’s enjoy tonight.)

He then gave fans a melodic and sweet performance of his new song ‘Miracle’. He played it for the first time in his Color+Full Asia Tour in Bangkok last February. The fans heartily kept the atmosphere alive by waving their lightsticks as they sang along with Seon Ho and taking videos of his performance.

Ryan Bang’s Constant Admiration for Seon Ho

After host Ryan Bang introduced Seon Ho and picked lucky fans who would join and play with
them on stage, he expressed his genuine and humorous admiration for Seon Ho’s looks.

“Natulala ako sa sobrang gwapo niya,” (I am captivated by his handsome looks.) Bang said with his jolly Filipino accent, which made fans laugh and cheer, while Seon Ho simply continued to smile with his adorable dimples.

Bang’s constant statements about Seon Ho’s looks made fans truly kilig, as they expressed the same sentiments. These are our favorite statements from Bang:

“Ang gwapo gwapo!” (He’s so handsome!)
“I would like to formally ask for your number. Haha, joke lang,” (Just kidding.)
“We love you, basta ikaw,” (We love you, anything for you.)
“Hay nako! Ang gwapo niya,” (Oh my! He’s handsome.)
“Ang galing mo,” (You’re so good.)
“Sana ako na lang yung apron,” (I wish I was the apron.

Bang, in his Instagram stories, also shared fans’ support for him as the host of the fan meet, with captions like “Thank you, @ryanbang, dahil sobrang kwela mo, naging comfortable si Seon Ho at naging masaya ang fan meet,” (Thank you Ryan Bang for your happy vibes, which made Seon Ho comfortable and made the fan meet fun.)

Apart from his naturally funny and entertaining hosting skills, Bang understands the fans’ unwavering love for their idol, creating a memorable connection between him and the attendees.

Seon Ho Excitely Cooked and Played with Fans

The fan meet progressed through the night with engaging games played by Seon Ho and his
fans.

The first game ‘Color+Full Talk’ was when Seon Ho picked a color that would represent Manila
best: navy. He introduced fun facts about himself that relate to the subjects that started with
the letters from the color nav

N stands for name: Seon Ho explained the meaning behind his name, when he shared, “My name Seon stands for ‘being generous’ and my name Ho stands for ‘being courageous.’”

A stands for animal: Bang asked Seon Ho about the animal that he likes the most, and Seon Ho replied “I like dogs.” Fans continued cheering while imitating dog sounds and barks. Bang then said, “Ang daming aso!” (There are so many dogs here!), expressing that fans would be anything that Seon Ho wants.

V stands for vacation: Seon Ho shared that he would like to spend his vacation on the seaside instead of the mountains, as he will have to climb up. He also laughed with Bang when the host volunteered to be his tour guide for his next visit to the country.

Y stands for yummy: For this part, Seon Ho shared that he would like to try tteokbokki with meat, so he’d love to eat tteokbokki with lechon inside it.

Later on, Seon Ho started playing other activities such as imitating animated illustrations of him with his cute and charming poses as he walked the stage, so fans from different seats could take a good look at his poses. He also started playing with selected fans in a guess the drawing game, where a fan has to guess their drawings correctly

Another game that exceptionally melted the hearts of fans was the tongue twister game. There was a part where Seon Ho smoothly and repeatedly pronounced the words ‘Tasa sa tanso, tanso sa tasa,’ and ‘Siopao, siomai, suman’. Hearing and seeing Seon Ho speak in Filipino deeply made the fans super happy and kilig!

For the last game, Seon Ho had to play an imitation game with fans as well as play sipa, a traditional Filipino game that requires players to keep the ball in the air as long as possible. All the fans completed the games with him, and their prize was to have a solo photo-op with Seon Ho through a Polaroid camera, and this made the audiences ultimately jealous!

The last part of the activities ended with the segment ‘Ho Chelin Restaurant’ where Seon Ho demonstrated cooking UFC Fun Chow and UFC Oppa Mixes for selected fans.

“I actually cooked a kimchi fried rice version of this, and it was really good […] The taste is almost the same with the Korean authentic kimchi fried rice,” Seon Ho said after his new commercial for UFC Fun Chow and UFC Oppa Mixes was shown on stage

Teary-eyed Kim Seon Ho Says Goodbye

Traditionally, fans made their idol teary-eyed while presenting the video they made for Seon Ho. Afterward, he was greeted in advance by his fans with a happy birthday song.

“Thank you, and I love you guys […] I will keep and treasure your precious hearts [when] going back to Korea,” he said, before singing his song ‘Reason’ with Epitone Project.

Why fans continue to love Kim Seon Ho

Apart from his lovable features including his good boy spirit and charming dimples, Seon Ho is also recognized for his versatile acting, where he could realistically play various roles that would grab viewers’ attention.

Just take it from the characters in his dramas where he played a wealthy, cold-hearted investor in a romantic comedy series Start-Up, or when he portrayed the role of a humble handyman residing in a seaside village in his heartwarming show, Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha.
