Shopee And CJ ENM Have Teamed Up To Bring KCON On The Internet!

For the first time, Shopee, Southeast Asia’s and Taiwan’s top e-commerce platform, has partnered with CJ ENM, Asia’s leading entertainment and lifestyle brand, to deliver KCON, the world’s largest Korean culture festival, online.

KCON is a much-anticipated yearly event for Kpop fans all over the world, now in its ninth year of providing the ideal Korean cultural fan experience in places like the United States, Japan, and Thailand. The KCON:TACT 2020 Summer concert will be streamed live for the first time in Southeast Asia and Taiwan, with Shopee as the official live stream partner.

KCON:TACT 2020 The highlight of Shopee Live Kpop Fest, which begins on June 10, will be KCON:TACT 2020. The festival, which was launched in partnership with CJ ENM, intends to address the growing need for online entertainment in the face of regional social distancing measures.

Shopee Live will also feature special appearances by GFRIEND, (G)I-DLE, ITZY, MONSTA X, and Stray Kids, as well as daily Kpop themed streaming and challenges for Shopee users. Shopee will stream live performances, concerts, and more from KCON:TACT 2020 Summer for free to Shopee Live users as part of this agreement.

Shopee Live Kpop Fest, which runs from June 10 to June 26, will feature a variety of daily live streams and challenges, including:

WJSN and Weki Meki, two popular Kpop stars, will make exclusive debuts on Shopee Live on June 10 and 15, respectively, at 8 p.m. (GMT +8).

Users can enjoy first-hand access to the groups with exciting performances, interviews, games, and more in each stream.

Kpop-themed challenges per day
Fans may show off their expertise, recreate legendary Kpop styles, and more with daily Kpop Themed Challenges. The most dedicated fans will be eligible to win enticing rewards such as vouchers and autographed products from their favorite celebrities.

From June 20 to 26, Shopee will screen KCON:TACT 2020 Summer on Shopee Live to commemorate the end of the Shopee Live Kpop Fest.
