Netflix Drops Sweet Home 2 Teaser Poster Spotlights Hyun-su and His Wing

Netflix has released the teaser poster for Sweet Home Season 2.

Sweet Home Season 2 follows Green Home survivors and Hyun-su as they struggle to survive in new places amid the emergence of otherworldly beings and mysterious phenomena.

A ruined stadium is seen in the background of the teaser poster as Hyun-su spreads out his spiked wing. Helicopters have pinpointed their lights on him, as well as snipers, intensifying the suspense of what will unfold in the new season. As he fought against monsterization and served as the one hope for Green Home residents, Hyun-su now faces a new dilemma: Will he remain a monster or a human in the outside world? 

Song Kang, returning as a more complex and mature Hyun-su, says, “I always wished to develop my character’s emotional depth and dramatic elements. Coming back to Sweet Home, I was able to satisfy much of that yearning, delving into more dramatic emotions, as well as allowing me to explore and understand myself and further grow.” 

Director Lee Eung-bok further stated that Season 2 of Sweet Home focuses on Hyun-su’s journey after surviving on the brink of despair, highlighting his unwavering commitment to his humanity.

In Sweet Home’s new season, Song Kang will portray Hyun-su’s inner struggles between his desire to remain human and his acceptance of monsterization as a way to protect others, as well as his growth and sacrifices.

The second season of Sweet Home will be available on Netflix on December 1.
