PLDT Enterprise & DTI: Teaming Up To Help MSMEs
PLDT Enterprise, the country’s biggest ICT and digital services provider, has launched a solutions bundle aimed at assisting micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in getting their businesses back on track.
Recognizing that businesses have different digital priorities, PLDT Enterprise created the package with flexibility in mind, allowing MSMEs to build on their needs by providing dependable business and connectivity solutions and selecting add-on services best suited to transforming their operations to digital—all for free for the first three months.
The packages are built around PLDT Enterprise’s newest fiber broadband service BEYOND FIBER and wireless broadband Smart BizLTE 1899. “At PLDT Enterprise, we’ve always strived to have a good impact on every company we work with. With our current situation putting a lot of financial strain on MSMEs, we set out to create a customizable solution that goes beyond basic connectivity to help them get back on their feet while pursuing financial recovery,” said Jovy Hernandez, ePLDT President & CEO and SVP & Head of the PLDT and Smart Enterprise Business Groups.
Because organizations have a wide range of demands beyond data access, the offer includes a variety of add-on solution options, including software, hardware, and services. PayMaya, Cyber Security, and digital collaboration tools are just a few of the tools available in this package to assist MSMEs in establishing an online presence, accepting online payments, increasing productivity and cooperation, and improving operations. The total cost of the bundle will vary based on which add-ons clients choose.
The business bundle stimulus offer for MSMEs is only available for a limited time, and it is expected to extend to include even more solutions in the months ahead, to assist MSMEs’ rising demands as they expand their businesses.
The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has expressed its support for the effort, encouraging MSMEs to take advantage of the package to help them get their businesses off the ground. “Today, our MSMEs account for the majority of our business. With the effects of the pandemic delaying economic activity, private and public sector members must work together to find new strategies to boost business activity,” stated DTI Secretary Mon Lopez.
