Thai actor Win Metawin charms his Filo fans on his first solo PH fan meet

WIN Metawin, Thai actor-model and well-known TV personality, took Manila by storm by making his first-ever solo fan meet in Manila last June 11, 2023, at the New Frontier Theatre, treating his Filo Snowballpowers a night they won’t ever forget. He returned to the Philippine stage to give his fans “kilig” moments.

Metawin Opas-iamkajorn, also known by his screen name “Win Metawin” rose to stardom when he portrayed the role of “Tin”, in the BL Series: 2gether and its sequel Still 2gether with Thai actor Bright Vachirawit. When the series ended, he had a lot of work lined up for him, making him even more popular nowadays. He was also part of the famous F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers series. 

Handmade sandwiches prepared by Win

The Thai actor prepared three sandwiches for his fans and he named each of them. The first sandwich is called “My Love” sandwich, followed by the “Baby Vegan” sandwich and lastly he named the last sandwich “My Girlfriend”.

WIN Serenades Filo Snowballpowers

WIN prepared several songs for his fans. He set the mood of his fan meeting by making the stage on fire with his first song, “One More Chance“. He also sang the popular tunes of his Drama Series 2gether,”That Person Must Be You,” and “Kan Goo”, which made his fans reminisce about the feels of his drama when it was airing.

Filo Snowballpowers got to know “WIN” in the series of activities Pulp prepared for him, with the ever-energetic and vibrant Kring Kim as the fan meets host.

She asked questions that WIN answered enthusiastically. WIN shared about his favourite breakfast, he said, “Actually, it’s a hard question, to be honest I don’t really eat breakfast because I do IF (intermittent fasting), so I skip it and start my meal at lunch.”

The genre he wants to try in the future is the role of a psycho, which, he stated, “I wanna try psycho character. I think it’s pretty challenging for me if I had the chance to do that.” 

When asked which celebrities he would like to collaborate with internationally. The audience yelled at BLACKPINK’s Jennie, to which he responded, “It’s one of my dreams.” He also wanted to collaborate with Filipino personalities such as Anne Curtis, whom he met at a Tiffany event in New York. 

Win is also grateful that he was named to Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia.“I feel so much honor to the magazine. When I saw it on the twitter i thought it was fake. I am thankful for everyone. Thank you so much”

WIN shared that the most memorable thing that a fan did to him was when they visited him during his graduation day. He said, “I think the most memorable one was graduation day. Bec at that time, it just finished covid. Peoplen outside the country can fly over to the country . I saw foreigners coming to the graduation. So thank you so much”. 

When asked what’s the best advice WIN received or would like to share with his fans, he replied “Concentrate my mind in the present moment. Sometimes I work a lot I think about the future a lot. I tend forgot to appreciate the present moment that i’m here right now I’m here with you guys . Remind myself a lot to be in the present, not the past and not the future.”

Before he end the show, WIN thank everyone who came to be with him on his first solo fan meeting. He hopes to meet his fans again and promises to be the best for them. “I wanna say I love you guys. I’m always happy to be back here. Thank you for coming and having a good time with me tonight. I hope one day I’ll have the chance to come back again.” WIN said.
