Filipino and Korean Celebrities Face Off in “Shoot of Asia” Basketball Game this October

Filipino and South Korean celebrities will compete in a basketball exhibition game titled Shoot of Asia on October 26, 2025, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
The event was announced through local clothing brand Bench’s social media pages. It will feature Team Philippines’ Kuys Showtime basketball squad against South Korea’s Rising Eagles in their first matchup.
Teams and Players

Team Philippines will include Vhong Navarro, Jhong Hilario, Billy Crawford, Ronnie Alonte, JC De Vera, David Licauco, Wendell Ramos, Dustin Yu, Ion Perez, Baileys Acot, Johannes Rissler, Arthur Nery, and Adie Garcia.
The Korean lineup will feature Minho of SHINee, Johnny of NCT, actor Eun Seok (The Penthouse: War in Life), 2AM’s Jeong Jin-woon, Moon Su-in, Kim Taek, Dae Hee, Seung Hoon, Chan Woong, Kyu Min, and Tae Jin.
Former national team legend and TV host Seo Jang Hoon will serve as head coach for the Korean side, with Jeon Tae-poong as assistant coach. Team Philippines will be guided by Beaujing Acot, with Julius Teruel and Baffy Acot as assistants.
Alongside the game, live performances will feature P-pop group Hori7on, K-pop girl group Billie, and Sandara Park, who is well-known to Filipino fans.

The Rising Eagles’ participation is part of SBS’s upcoming sports-reality series set to premiere in November. The program follows the team’s training and bonding, with the Philippines exhibition game serving as one of their international challenges.

Fans can watch the game for as low as ₱800 through SM Tickets. Prices are as follows:
